Our Philosophy
Every child is unique. It is our responsibility as educators to respect the needs and encourage the independent growth of each student by creating a learning environment that does the same. While well-structured and clearly defined, our methodologies are free to adapt to the individual development levels, interests and strengths of each student.
We, Cotton Mill School and childcare in Rowlett, firmly believe that the best way for a child to thrive is to empower that child by creating an environment filled with exciting possibilities to learn through all five senses.

Our Method
By providing a stimulating and nurturing environment, we allow each child to be fully immersed in the process of learning. Our experienced and certified Montessori teachers are trained to help each child explore and discover the world about them and assist in awakening the natural curiosity of each child. The low student-to-teacher ratio in our classroom allows our teachers to give each student the individual attention that may sometimes be required.
We all recognized that kids learn best when they are having fun. Philosophy
Every child deserves to be valued, to be respected, and to be appreciated as an individual. Every child has basic needs that must be met in order for him to develop into a responsible, ethical, productive adult.
The early years are the most formative ones in a child’s development and are a brief window of opportunity to provide a child with the foundation he will need to conquer later challenges.
We provide nurturing care for each child in a warm, supportive, secure environment. We seek to express God’s love for each child through our relationship with that child. We strive to be supportive of our parent’s efforts to reinforce strong family values that are taught in their own homes.
Educational Goals
Our goal is for each child to enjoy the school experience with us and to be excited about learning. We encourage each child’s natural curiosity to promote a path of enjoying and appreciating learning throughout life. You will receive an overview of the curriculum for your child’s class upon enrollment.
